Hybrid Publishing
Luckenbooth Press was founded by veterans of top U.K. and U.S. publishers such as Fern Press and Ebury, part of Penguin Random House. Noting that only 1% of manuscripts submitted to traditional publishers even get read, our editors and top designers decided to start a hybrid publishing company where published writers and authors could cut through the red tape and get expert help publishing their book.
Our team helps edit, design interior pages and covers, ensure distribution into key booksellers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and independent bookstores, convert hardcover and paperback books into eBooks or audio books and gives insights into marketing your book to success.
Many now famous authors (Robert Kiyosaki "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", Lisa Genova "Still Alice", Wayne Dyer "Erroneous Zones", Irma Rombauer "The Joy of Cooking," Mark Twain, Margaret Atwood, Beatrix Potter and Jane Austen) are all self-published.
While there are some upfront fees paid by the author, we are not a vanity press and do not accept all writers or manuscripts. Our editorial team reviews all submissions and decides which books will be accepted. Our authors receive expert help and guidance getting published and distributed and retain all copyright and creative control over their book. And author royalties are up to 50% higher than traditional publishers.
